Catenary Design EngineerSTV Incorporated- Bos - Newark, NJThe successful candidate must possess the following a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the design of AC and DC catenary systems for railroad and transit applications. A licensed civil engineer in the state of New Jersey is highly desired. Must have strong communication skills and the ability to work with others. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required. Knowledge of software for support structure analysis is a plus.Additional requirements include: the ability to perform pole and foundation loading calculations, catenary tension calculations, analysis of wire sag and rise conditions, preparation of catenary plan and profile diagrams, and catenary support structures (including cantilevers, portals and headspans).
