  JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the RN, scrubs, gowns, gloves, and sets up sterile table with instruments and supplies equipment and medication solutions needed for each procedure. Assists in draping sterile field according to procedure physician preference. Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. Orders supplies and equipment for next days cases. Restocks supplies in rooms for OR and Anesthesia staff. May sponge operative site, hold retractors during surgeries cut suture and cauterize previously clamped vessels as directed by surgeon. Understands departmental vision and value Assists in training new personnel. Performs other duties as assigned. Required to be on call and work flexible hours.
