Open source software has become a vital asset for most, if not all high tech. organizations and HP is no exception. The open source program office (OSPO) within HP is responsible for ensuring that all of HP complies with the open source governance policies and processes established to maximize the value, and minimize the risk in using open source in our products and solutions. The individual that fills this role will assist the OSPO creating and enhancing software tools to improve the control, and understanding of open source technologies used within HP products.
