DESCRIPTION The Beacon Center is a one-stop local community center that provides services and programming desired by the residents to improve their capacity for self sufficiency and to support the overarching outcomes of Children's Services Council: an increase in healthy births, a decrease in abuse/neglect of children ages 0 - 5 and children being ready & eager to learn when they enter kindergarten. The Beacon programming primarily focuses on early childhood development and family support.
