Assistant Professor of Biology in EthnobotanyDrake University - Des Moines, IADrake University invites applications for a tenure-track position in Ethnobotany as an Assistant Professor of Biology, beginning fall semester 2010. Teaching responsibilities include one-semester courses with labs in Introduction to Botany, Plant Physiology, Plant Anatomy, a one-year sequence of courses in Ethnobotany, as well as Science Education for the School of Education. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Systematics, Tropical Ecology, Plant Physiology, or related area, with teaching and post-doctoral experience preferred.
