Responsibilities include: independent assessment and evaluation of patients, accurate communication with physicians, assisting physicians with IV sedation during procedures, caring for wounds and devices used in plastic surgical environment including drains, VACs, splints and dressings, telephone triage requiring independent thinking and problem solving skills, and patient and family education. IV skills, sedation and/or ICU experience (adult or pedi) required; RN with 2 -3 yrs acute pediatric experience, plastics or surgery preferred. BSN preferred.
