  The File Clerk pulls and requests records for inpatient and outpatient care, special audits and internal department needs; prepares new folders; updates previous records using bar code labels; delivers STAT ERs, and Labor & Delivery charts; files and researches loose pieces; locates missing day of discharge charts on nursing units; processes charts for pre-admitted surgery patients; and provides medical information to requestors according to release of information policies. Qualifications Education: High school graduation or equivalent. Experience: Significant filing experience in an office setting desired. Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of numeric and alphabetic filing systems required. Demonstrated knowledge of terminal digit filing preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of basic medical...
