Licensed Practical Nurse - Nursing Home Care UnitDepartment of Veterans Affairs - Wilmington, DEOne full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position for the Nursing Home Care Unit. A full range of LPN duties including but not limited to: administering medications, performing prescribed treatments, providing patient/family instruction, providing direct patient care, identifying and responding to the emotional, cultural, spiritual, socio-economic, and age-related needs, and accurately recognizing, reporting, and documenting relevant patient information. The LPN will be assigned to a 60-bed Nursing Home Care Unit. This unit is physically attached to the VA Hospital. The Nursing Home Care Unit has both long term care and transitional care residents. This position is for evening shift (3:30pm - midnight) and includes weekend rotation.
