The Emergency Department (ED) Nurse/Supervisor has the responsibility and accountability for the operation of the NAVAHCS Emergency Department, working under the supervision of the Primary Care Service Line Manager. The incumbent is directly responsible for implementing, monitoring and evaluating processes and procedures used to deliver urgent/emergent care in the ED. The incumbent provides on-site day to day operational management and directly supervises all staff assigned to the unit, including, but not limited to Nurses and Patient Services Assistants with the exception of physicians, advanced nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.
