Linux System AdministratorApple - Cupertino, CAA successful candidate will have 5+ years experience of enterprise level UNIX system administration/engineering. Data center environment consists of Mac OS X, IBM/AIX, SUN/Solaris, and Linux systems. This position is focused primarily on Red Hat Linux. You should also understand SAN, RAID, file system and IP networking technology. Candidate needs to be proficient with the administration, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and writing of support documentation for Linux on x86 based hardware. Job duties include standard administration (e.g., account creation, system audits, 3rd level troubleshooting) and engineering duties (e.g., patch installation, OS upgrades and installs, mentoring less senior level SE's).
