Research Technician, HIV and AIDS 14-08Population Council - New York, NYThe Population Council’s HIV and AIDS Program is offering a great opportunity for a research technician to perform immunologic and virologic assays on cells isolated from the blood and tissues of uninfected versus infected animals as well as from blood and tissues of human donors. Assays include purification of specific white blood cell types, ELISA, LUMINEX, ELISPOT, multicolor flow cytometry, microscopy, western blot, PCR. Responsibilities include conducting computerized analysis of assay results and preparing tables and reports; conducting studies in vitro and in vivo systems; and general laboratory duties.
