Project Overview: MBDSS is collection of individual applications and services that access a single, enterprise-wide authoritative source for Medicare beneficiary demographic data. MBDSS includes the Medicare Beneficiary Database (MBD), the mid-tier based Oracle MBD Warehouse (OMBDW) and numerous system interfaces. MBDSS makes possible the integration and standardization of heterogeneous beneficiary data that were previously fragmented and often redundant within isolated CMS legacy systems.
