Pharmacy TechnicianCitrus Valley Health Partners - West Covina, CAResponsible for the preparation, storage, and distribution of medications under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have knowledge of trade/generic drug names and aseptic technique for the preparation of all types of IVs. Must be able to perform mathematical calculations and have sufficient typing skills for computer order entry. Needs general understanding of pharmacy computer applications, and be able to use common reference material. Able to withstand stress of high activity area. Proficiency in English (verbal and written skills) in order to communicate effectively. Pharmacy Technician or Intern Pharmacist License is req'd. BLS or ACLS req'd.
