  Human Resoucres Assistant available located in Reno, Nevada. This is a temp-perm position. Must be able to pass a background check and hair follicle exam. POSITION SUMMARY: Working at the direction of the HR Director, performs a variety of human resources activities in the areas of employment, benefits, training, safety, workers compensation, record keeping and administration. Provides administrative support to HR Director ensuring that they are apprised of all relevant items. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists with recruiting. Posts job openings, pre-screens applicants, arranges interviews, checks employment references, initiates background screening, prepares offer letters, coordinates drug tests and plans and conducts new employee orientations.
