  THE ROLE ? Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President, Administration with a matrixed relationship to the Vice President, Nursing and collaboratively to the medical department chiefs, this position is responsible for coordinating and managing perioperative care. Included in position responsibilities are the management of nursing care and logistical support for the operating room, as well as the oversight of approximately 100 FTEs. The Director of Perioperative Services coordinates and evaluates care delivered and activities performed by personnel in the Operating Room, Ambulatory Surgery and Central Supply on a 24-hour basis. He/She evaluates the outcomes of nursing care rendered to all patients. Hospital has 15 (7 of which are ambulatory) operating rooms as well as a cystoscopy suite...
