Recon/ Controls Manager job in Charlotte, NC - Wachovia Corp

RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage day to day operations of the Fixed Income Exceptions Resolution Group. This area provides support to the Corporate Investment Banking division's finance and regulatory divisions and over site and review processes of sub-systems to general ledger comparisons and aging open payables and receivables in suspense and cash accounts. Constantly review current processes to identify opportunities for increased straight through processing or decreased risk and ensure proper controls are in place and documented. Review will include both profit and loss related to reconcilations created by finance and internally as part of exceptions research review.
