Lead Gift Shop Volunteer (Volunteer)
The Lead Gift Shop Volunteer overseas the operation of the WGBH Headquarters retail shop, located in the lobby of WGBH's studios at One Guest Street in Boston's Brighton neighborhood.
Qualifications
Previous experience with customer service required
Experience managing retail operation helpful
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Familiarity with computers and cash/credit handling and procedures.
Must be able lift up to 20 pounds
Must have ability to stand for periods of time and to use a small stepladder.
May be asked to participate in CORI screening
Must be at least 18 years of age; college experience preferred.
Requirements
Schedule volunteers to staff the Gift Shop
Train new volunteers to help out in Shop
Run register and checkout merchandise
