Senior AccountantRobert Half International - New York, NYSenior Accountant Global Broker Dealer seeks a Senior Accountant (AVP level) with at least 3+ years of experience in the Broker Dealer industry. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and review of the 15C-3 Reporting and FOCUS filings to the NASD. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, complex journal entries, general ledger analysis, and the preparation of work papers. The Senior Accountant will also assist with the supervision and review of the staff accountants work. Qualified Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, knowledge of GAAP, familiarity with Broker Dealer reporting and an ability to work in a team environment. CPA/MBA is a plus.
