Mechanical Engineer R&DCarleton Life Support Systems - Davenport, IASenior Mechanical Engineer R&D Responsible for Design, development, implementation, and analysis of technical products and systems. Conducts analysis and designs mechanical products. Works with technicians to research and improve methods and designs of existing and new product lines. Creates and works with designers/drafters to develop mechanical designs in Pro-E. Performs duties under tight tolerances. Recommends alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures. Coordinates and conducts testing Uses computer to accomplish responsibilities Requirements B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering 5-10years experience Strong interest in fabrication methods and part design Experience with Pro-E, knowledge of CATIA and ANSYS a plus.
