Fitness CoordinatorDelaware State University - Dover, DEGeneral Description of the Job: The Fitness Coordinator reports to the Director of Wellness and Recreation. He or she will play a critical role in the University??s strategic planning for the wellness promotions at the Wellness and Recreation Center. Essential Functions: 1.Assist in the development of fitness class offerings 2.The supervision of staff, including, but not limited to group exercise instructions, fitness staff, and 15 to 20 part time and student workers. 3.Contracting employees (wellness instructors-indoor cycling, dance fitness, yoga, Pilates) 4.Act as substitute instructor in exercise classes as needed 5.Assist in the everyday operation of the WRC including opening and closing the facility. 6.Assist in the evaluation of fitness programs, rules, and policies. 7.Assist in...
