United States Senator For the District of Columbia - Capitol Hill, WASeveral positions for Legislative Interns are currently available in the Office of the United States Senator for the District of Columbia. Duties of the Legislative and Public Policy interns include the monitoring and analysis of pending legislation and public policy initiatives. The intern will work in the office of U.S. Senator Paul Strauss, the District of Columbia's elected Senior "shadow" U.S. Senator. The intern will attend proceedings of the United States Senate and it's committees, as well as meetings of the US House of Representatives, the elected Council of the District of Columbia and other governmental organizations.
