The Smith Public Library is seeking an energetic and dynamic individual to join the library team as Childrens Services Librarian. The Smith Library is expanding to a 43,900 square foot facility during the first quarter of 2011. Performing the selection of materials, assisting with moving plans and creating public service programs will be the major projects in the next year.
JOB SUMMARY:
Under supervision of Youth Services Supervisor, this position is responsible for planning and presenting story time for children with a variety of ages, outreach to the community, selection of library materials, assisting at the childrens and teen public service desks.
