Scientist IVBen Venue Laboratories - Bedford, MABASIC PURPOSE: The Department of Cardiovascular Disease at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. has an opening for a Bachelors/Masters level scientist skilled in in vivo physiology/pharmacology. The research focus is on mechanisms that contribute to kidney disease. Primary responsibilities will require developing and/or establishing preclinical animal models to evaluate novel therapeutics with a primary focus on renal protection. Research efforts will utilize invasive and non-invasive techniques for monitoring acute and chronic blood pressure, metabolic status and renal function.
