Teen/Youth Literacy Coordinator job in Burlington, VT

The Fletcher Free Library Youth Department is currently recruiting for an AmeriCorps*State Member to serve part-time starting in November, 2009 as Teen Literacy Coordinator. AmeriCorps benefits include a $6,035 living allowance and the opportunity to develop professional skills. Upon successful completion of service members receive a $2,365 Education Award that may be used for qualified education expenses or payment of qualifying student loans. The position is 15-20 hours/week, for 10-12 months. The Teen Literacy Coordinator will work with the Youth Services Librarian at the Fletcher Free Library to be a creative inspiration to area young people.
