Large Financial company downtown is seeking a Tax Attorney.
150-200K+ Must be JD with Funds (Fin48) exp
Requirements
Work with business, internal legal and tax teams, as well as outside tax counsel and accounting firms, on a variety of issues, including investor queries, tax consequences associated with fund investments, and analysis and application of new tax, accounting and regulatory rules to the funds. Tax representative on new instrument review committees, with responsibility for reviewing and coordinating response on particular tax products and issues. Review of fund offering documents, tax opinions and memoranda prepared by outside counsel, as well as preparation and review of internal memoranda on certain tax issues, client communications, talking points, tax representations...
