Barge CaptainSaudi Aramco - Houston, TXPOSITION DESCRIPTION: Incumbent will be responsible for running operation and maintenance of all jacking and auxiliary machinery on board of Saudi Aramco Offshore rigs. SELECTION CRITERIA: High School with 15 years of experience as Barge Captain on Jackup drilling rigs. COMMENTS: The department currently operates 7 Saudi Aramco owned and 6-12 contractor oil drilling and workover rigs, in addition to 10-15 waterwells, drilling and working over oil/water wells in remote locations including offshore throughout Saudi Aramco Operating areas. The new hire barge captains are required to man the new offshore jackup rig and to mentor the Saudi Barge Captains who are currently under training.
