TEMPORARY Senior Mortgage Loan UnderwriterChevy Chase Bank - Reston, VAWe are seeking a TEMPORARY SENIOR MORTGAGE UNDERWRITER... this position does not offer benefits for the first 90 days DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Conduct an in-depth review of all documentation to ensure full compliance with company and/or investor guidelines. Underwrite loans and evaluate risk to ensure a sound and prudent decision. Analyze appraisal to determine the subject represents acceptable collateral. Assist all production personnel with questions on policies and procedures. Ensure that loan files are reconciled with applicable automated underwriting findings. Maintain individual manuals and guidelines for all programs. Provide Team Leader with all requested reporting information. Review questionable credit files with the Team Leader.
