Description: Licensed Dental Hygiene Care is a start up non profit that brings dental hygiene services to a neglected and often forgot about population; seniors residing in long term care facilities. Many assume seniors have lost their teeth and wear dentures. Will you be wearing dentures? Most likely not. In skilled nursing, manual dexterity has been lost or limited to the point that daily oral hygiene is dependent on the staff. Our mission is to provide these professional services at the facilities regardless of their finacial resources. Being a start up, professional volunteers are greatly needed in helping us get the word out about our services.
