Provides patient transport to diagnostic and therapeutic areas, clinics, physician's offices, operating and patient rooms. Incumbent is responsible for the transport of deceased patients to the morgue. Responsible for properly connecting and disconnecting of portable oxygen and telemetry monitors. Provides assistance to nursing staff in transferring patients between bed and transport equipment. Minimum requirement of one year customer service experience. Prefer work experience in a physically demanding role within healthcare. High School Diploma, GED, or applicable experience required. Excellent communication skills required.
