Brief Description of Duties: This position is located in the Department of Consumer and Regulatory (DCRA), Inspections and Compliance Administration is comprised of building, construction, safety and technical inspection specialties, such as general construction, fire protection, elevator, plumbing, electrical, boiler and heating, and mechanical inspections. The administration is responsible for conducting citywide surveys, special investigations and inspections to ensure compliance with all laws, codes and regulations administered by the department; to write and issue notices of infraction; and to motivate compliance.
