The Cardiovascular Ultrasound Tech II, under the direction of the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services or Supervisor of Noninvasive, performs high quality cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures that require ingenuity, initiative and independent judgment. Must be capable of following department policies, procedure and protocol to provide quality patient care. 2-D echo exams to assess for LV function, wall motion abnormalities, cardiac and pericardial diseases, and valvular morphology. Assists cardiologists with transesophageal echo''s (TEE) and Stress Echo (treadmill and Dobutamine), line placement and peri-operative assessments.
