Patent Agent Needed - Background in ChemistryPartners Group - Washington, DCThe Washington, DC office of a national law firm is seeking a qualified patent agent with 2+ years of experience. Duties include but are not limited to, conduct database searches for patentability, clearance and state of art; draft reports and documents for patent practitioners including patentability assessments; analyze patent references and technical documents to assist patent practitioners in connection with litigation support and clearance and state of the art assessments; and advise patent practitioners on technology issues. Must have superb technical skills, including significant laboratory experience in chemistry technologies. Strong academic background with a Ph.D. preferred. Industry experience preferred.
