During the 2009 tax season, Neighborhood Tax Center volunteers saved families more than $3 million in tax preparation fees and their 5,000+ hours of service claimed $23 million in tax credits and refunds for our local economy. In 2010, our goal is to prepare 21,000 returns for working families. To reach this goal, we need 500 volunteers! If you are comfortable using a computer and working with numbers, we can train you to prepare simple tax returns.
