Student Services CoordinatorEckerd Youth Alternatives - Cocoa, FLStudent Support Coordinator Purpose Position responsible for assisting the school districts Homeless Student Liaison and provide case management of homeless students and their families. The coordinator will help identify strengths and needs, provide support, and create linkages to local resources. The coordinator will also work with school staff to promote awareness and sensitivity to the childs situation in an effort to foster empathy and improve school performance. Duties Assist in the composition and dissemination of information pertaining to identification of students in transition and available services. Provide training to schools related to identification, services, and awareness. Provide case management, counseling, and parent training services to students and families.
