  Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives: The primary objective of this position is to exceed sales goals for instrument placements, capital equipment, reagents and service revenue. Responsible for selling the capital product line to hospitals and laboratories within the assigned geographic territory. Major Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of the capital sales cycle, including product demonstrations, evaluations, technical presentations, proposals and final negotiations. Meets or exceeds sales, reagent, service and budget goals. Leadership role that directs and leads the traditional team for the product line and is accountable for driving the sales cycle in all applicable accounts.
