Research AssociateAffymetrix - Santa Clara, CAPosition Description Affymetrix currently has an opening for a Research Associate II position available at our Fremont location to assist with the developing DNA/RNA based detection assays. Position Requirements -At least 2 years experience of developing DNA/RNA based detection assays.- Have been involved in the development and launching of commercial kits required.- Must have basic skills in cell culture, molecular biology suc as RT-PCR and flourescent imaging.- Experience operating automation and robotic instrumentation in life science and drug discovery research is highly preferred.- Experience writing standard operating procedures, standard manufacturing procedures and knowing how to transfer developed assays to manufacturing teams is highly preferred.- Ability to communicate clearly...
