Staff AccountantNri Staffing Resources - Washington, DCA non-profit organization in downtown Washington, DC has an immediate need for a Staff Accountant, reporting directly to the CFO. Responsibilities include: Responsible for analysis, invoicing, verification of appropriate tracking of expenses and revenue against approved budgets, GL reconciliation and journal entry preparation. Work closely withCFO in the preparation of financial statements. Knowledge of Excel, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with accounting databases required. To be considered, candidates must have solid experience with grants management and federal government circulars (OMB A-110, A-122, and A-133). A Bachelor's degree is also required, preferably in Accounting. This position will be temp-to-hire with a permanent salary of $50-60K, depending on experience.
