Makes best use of resources, material and staff to attract, retain, inform, educate and entertain an audience. Works with the assignment desk, executive producer, news director, anchors and newscast director to provide the best newscast and news coverage possible. Participates in daily meetings and contributes ideas toward setting the news agenda for the day. Works with other producers and writers as part of the AM news team to construct the most interesting, compelling, informative and entertaining morning newscast in the market.
