* Manages GRC (group rooms calendar) updates
* Prepares Group Resume Packets and distributes to front desk
* Greets on-site group contact whenever possible
* Follows up with Thank You/Group Survey
* Maintains relationships for future business
* Contracts meeting rooms via BEO
* Creates diagrams for room set up
* Orders Food & Beverage for meetings
* Adds events to Meeting Agenda Calendar & distributes to Front Desk
* Manages details the day of meeting
* Qualifies business
* Sends contract and obtains signed contract for group bookings
* Builds Room Blocks
* Inputs Rooming Lists (if applicable)
* Books & manages all group blocks
* Books & manages all meetings
* Tours for walk-in customers (qualify & sell or pass to manager)
* Processes BT (Business transient) and group contracts
* Utilizes reservation system for sales related administrative functions
* Maintains and follows up with new leads
* Uses Etools for group rooming lists, reservation links and custom web pages
* Builds company rate programs and group blocks
* Updates GRC, Meeting Agenda & Company Production Reports
* Assists DOS with inventory management
* FNC & GRP monitoring and check out of folios
* Prepares promotional and marketing materials
* Prepares weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for DOS

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise

* Ability to verbally communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
* Ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work well with others and portray good people skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Displays aggressive hospitality
* Excellent organizational skills and guest relations skills
* Has a great eye for detail
* Is flexible and has what it takes to get the job done
* Is well presented; well groomed and conform with the hotel’s dress code
* Must be a self-starter and be able to work with minimum supervision

Experience

*

1 year hotel sales or front office experience

Physical Demands

* Minimum lifting 30 lbs.
* Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, upward reaching
* Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking
