? Help develop major maintenance execution related IO's to ensure correct scope and costing prior to execution

* Draft electrical reliability and maintenance procedures for LiMSS publication; review and approve the application of local electrical equipment/systems PM's, work instructions, and related procedures. Review the quality and completeness of electrical PM execution at assigned plant locations
* Track emergent plant events and ensure that comprehensive pro-active leadership of electrical support is provided, root cause is determined, using OEM's where required, and that lessons learned are shared and implemented
* Identify new and assess the effectiveness of electrically related CBM tools, techniques and practices
* Review electrically related CBM and reliability reports and data and agree specific actions, as indicated, with the Regional and Area Management teams
* Represent the regions electrical reliability interests as the BU owner's electrical engineer in the proposal and commercialization processes, including due diligence, scope/spares decisions, installation, execution strategies commissioning and new plant acceptance
* Work with Field Production and Procurement to identify regional electrical vendor support needs, and to ensure that all maintenance and supply agreements are properly managed to ensure maximum benefit to the BU.
* Assess the technical competency of electrical contractors and service providers to ensure proper scope is assigned and the expected quality is received
* Support global geographies on emergent electrical equipment issues and catastrophic failures as requested
* Execute regional training initiatives and develop/deliver local training materials as required
* Provide electrical technical support, review and approval of changes using the Engineering Management of Change (EMOC) process
* Participate in reliability audits and assessments
* Participate in expert user panels and maintain network of industry best practice and service providers. Stay abreast of latest equipment design, monitoring, and service trends to determine opportunities verse the existing electrical equipment portfolio. Translate network knowledge into local application
* Minimum 15 years experience, with at least 5 years in an operations environment, with strong technical background and troubleshooting experience in electrical short circuit analysis, relay protection settings & coordination, power quality analysis, high voltage motor starting schemes and analysis, hazardous area classification and lightning protection. General expertise desirable in large high voltage motors and gas or steam driven power generation equipment including HRSG, and related control systems
* Electrical engineering degree required. Professional qualifications and licensing preferred
* Good knowledge of the National Electrical Code
* In depth-knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance techniques including the use of computerized maintenance management systems to manage these processes
* Interpersonal skills:
* Possesses strong communications and leadership skills at all levels
* Demonstrated ability to work cohesively in a team environment
* Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and improve existing processes/programs
* Managerial skills:
* Project management
- experience handling multiple projects
* Knowledgeable in plant operations. Can effectively identify and evaluate technical and business process opportunities and support investment and business case development
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
