Process Engineer III

Job Summary:

R&D Engineer is responsible for the transfer and scale-up of new dental materials from the lab scale to full scale manufacturing. This includes both synthetic and formulation processes.

Essential Duties:

Develop processes which enable the routine manufacture of new products and associated documentation required for medical device and cGMP compliance.

- Specify equipment, raw material sources, and capital for the manufacture of new products.

- Develop and execute validation protocols for new materials, equipment, and processes.

- Monitor quality to insure new products meet specifications prior to hand-off to manufacturing.

Education and Experience:

BS Chemical Engineer with five years industrial experience.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated successful scale-up of chemicals or materials.
Ability to design and execute DOE's and utilize statistical software to evaluate process/product performance.
Excellent verbal and writing skills.
