Application support will support the end users of business application utilizing technical and vendor management skills that allow them to support application fixes, provide application user administration, and resolve application system outages.

The position also facilitates application enhancement projects, under general supervision of a Project Manager. Will coordinate and manage deliverables for users including; working with the user to identify business requirements, writing functional specifications, developing timelines for project deliverables, participating in application testing and quality assurance, and managing project tasks and resources to completion.

Responsibilities

-Testing of basic system functionality prior to turnover to business for testing

-Creation of Functional Test Plan

-Provide/Create support documentation

-Provide onsite support to business as upgrade is rolled out

-Gathering and documenting user requirements

-Working with vendor on application design

-Ensure requirements are met for any custom add-ons needed

-Facilitation of application test case development and test execution

-Complete periodic SOX audit ...

-Analyze and interpret reported problems

-Be available for on-call system issues

-Own the vendor relationship and drive results with them in a timely manner

Requirements

-Gaming, Hotel or Point of Sale experience Preferred

-Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline with an I.T. technology focus preferred; Technology certs a plus

-Two + years progressive broad-based information systems and business experience; highly desirable to have experience in software support involving troubleshooting and testing of application; ideally, two + years in customer service

-One + years of business-unit experience, with sensitivity and commitment to business problem solving
