This position is responsible for prospecting and closing new mortgage business. Must be highly skilled at preparing, analyzing and verifying client needs, loan applications and follow on procedures. Responsible for timely, accurate, compliant and complete loan file submission to Underwriting. Qualifying candidates must tirelessly prospect for new mortgage business in order to meet required funded volume goals.
Develop a loyal and consistent client base of Realtors, relevant business partners and borrowers through disciplined consultative sales techniques. This role requires a thorough knowledge of the mortgage industry and our value proposition. Qualifying candidates must tirelessly prospect for new mortgage business in order to meet required funded volume goals. Loan documentation must be precise, compliant and meet Underwriter conditions in a timely manner. This role requires that qualifying candidates consistently educate their clients, keep them well informed, and ensure that they are 100% satisfied with our overall origination process and customer service. Gather and review all necessary loan documents as required by our Underwriting team. Must always perform in the client's best interest and make certain they are presented with the loan program that fits their financial goals and expectations. Candidate must remain educated on all new loan programs and strategies that will improve overall productivity and company performance. All origination efforts must follow RESPA guidelines, i.e., deliver 100% accurate good faith estimate within 3 days, strict integrity with regards to commissions and fees, etc. Stay abreast of industry trends, company policy and industry guidelines to ensure proper loan quality. Develop and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly volume goals, client presentations, applications, submissions and funded loans. Maintain a clear understanding of company's value proposition in order to maximize market share quality and overall performance.

Must be self-motivated and able to manage business to achieve desired results. Must be extremely professional and ethical. Must comply with all licensing requirements as established under state and federal law and regulation. All appropriate licenses and permits required by applicable law must be maintained throughout the term of employment. Occasional travel by airplane and regular travel by personal automobile is required. Extended work hours, including evenings and weekends, may be required.
