* Qualifications:

*  Strong experience (5+ years) with Data Quality initiatives (data profiling, improvement, accuracy, completeness, data integrity, data stewardship, and data governance). ETL data mapping and validation/testing for data migration should be excluded from the total count of years.
* Very strong (8+ years) SQL experience writing queries within large-scale database environments, preferably Oracle
* Strong (4+ years) Unix experience (shell scripting, grep, find, etc..)
* Ability to investigate anomalies and proactively problem solve
* Able to work within a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities
* Manufacturing industry experience preferred but not required
* Must be a fast learner and willing to learn independently
* Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice
* Some international travel required (1-2 times per year)

* Description: The Sr. Data Quality Analyst (DQA) is responsible for managing and improving the quality of data within all of the MQM data warehousing environments and, to some extent, data warehouses downstream from MQM. This individual will identify data quality issues, investigate issues identified by others, research and implement solutions to correct problems (at the source where possible), design code to correct historical data, develop alarm reports and monitoring programs, and execute data quality initiatives. This individual will work with business partners inside and outside of the company to identify data quality issues and address them in order based upon urgency and priority. Additional responsibilities include driving improvements in the organization, processes, and use of systems and data and implementing data quality initiatives (Data Quality Roadmap). Technical Complex SQL coding in an Oracle environment Investigation using Unix to manipulate and research data in flat files Able to effectively and efficiently work with an enterprise environment involving very large data sets - millions of records in both databases and flat files Data Quality Management Execute data validation, data integrity, data profiling, data auditing, and data gap analyses Implement data cleansing and data improvement initiatives Design and develop processes to validate new data and changes in processes Design and implement data quality monitoring reports, alerts, processes and governance Document existing and potential data structures and data flow processes Perform daily monitoring of feed files from factories and coordinate correction of invalid data Develop the back-end of dashboards that can be used to track and improve data quality Strategic Initiatives Able to think strategically, with a solid grasp of business issues and objectives, the implications of different solutions, and the identification of the optimal solution given the current environments constraints Able to be strategic AND tactical. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale. * Education: Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a Computer Science, MIS, and/or Business degree preferred
