Navy Physicians are responsible for meeting the full spectrum of medical needs for military servicemembers – practicing medicine that’s patient-focused, not business-driven. In this role:Care for Sailors and Marines as well as their eligible family members Specialize in any of more than 30 medical specialty and subspecialty areas – from General Practice to Neurosurgery Work anywhere from Naval Bases to National Naval Medical Centers, hospital ships to mobile clinics Earn competitive pay and benefits (this includes tax-free allowances for housing and meals, comprehensive medical/dental coverage, retirement benefits, 30 days' vacation with pay earned every year, and low-cost travel opportunities)

Requirements:
 Candidates must satisfy specific criteria to be eligible for employment consideration.U.S. citizenship: 

Required Education:
 Graduate of a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education or the American Medical Association (AMA); or a graduate of a school of osteopathy approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) [note that foreign medical graduates must have completed a residency program approved by the AMA, be board-certified in a specialty considered critical to the Navy, and have at least two years of experience following completion of residency – consideration is on a case-by-case basis] 

Licensing:
 Current state medical license within one year of entering the 

Navy Medical Corps Gender:
 Male or female 

Age:
