Automation Test Engineer

We are building a team of highly skilled IT professionals and will be hiring a couple of Automation Test Engineers!  In this exciting role, you will work with leading edge technologies to lead, develop and implement efficient and effective quality test plans. This dynamic team is involved with software, web, portal, application and other testing for new systems and enhancements with a focus on both manual and automated testing tools, test script and test plan creation and maintenance, defect tracking and reporting.

Primary Responsibilities:
• As a highly skilled Automation Engineer you will perform as an individual contributor and partner closely with Product Managers, Team Leads, Developers, QA and Business Analysts to understand features and technical implementation
• Develop and maintain automation framework features
• Use framework to translate test scenarios into regression/smoke tests. Clarify functional doubts; create test data, configuration, come up with design and implementation details and deliver robust test scripts
• Manage test execution, result analysis and defect reporting
• Maintain test scripts
• Participate in design reviews and code reviews.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospectives as well as process reviews
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BE, BSc, BTech, MCA) or equivalent work experience
• 4 + years' experience as a software test engineer or software QA engineer involving writing and executing tests, white box testing
• Good understanding of building/implementing various automation frameworks, various automation approaches, and automation object identification mechanism
• Ability to performing troubleshooting and maintenance of test scripts
• Knowledge of testing enterprise Web based applications
• Strong, clear and articulate verbal & written communication skill

Preferred Qualifications:
• Healthcare industry experience
• Agile software development environment
• Strong Interpersonal skills to work across all levels of the organization (management, technical and business constituents)
• Strong knowledge and understanding of industry standards, quality processes and metrics
• Familiarity with defect tracking and testing tools
• Strong analytical and effective decision-making skills, innovative
• Good exposure to regression/smoke test automation and maintenance
