Develop procedures for implementation of new hardware and software.Design, plan and implement software deployments, migrations and upgrades maximizing security, management and support.Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and at least 5 years of experience in data warehousing and Business Intelligence.Must have 5 years experience in administering the entire Business Objects XI Application Suite in a windows environment.Demonstrated experience designing, developing and implementing Business Objects universe and dashboards.Demonstrated experience in optimizing the performance of the enterprise Business Objects environment.Demonstrated ability to quickly diagnose and resolve problems related to web servers, application servers, and BI web applications.Demonstrated experience in development and implementation of Business Objects backup and recovery plans.Demonstrated experience with load balancing products such as F5.Must be able to provide 24x7 on call support as assigned.Excellent interpersonal skills as demonstrated by the ability to interact with others in a consistently positive manner, exercising discretion and tact.Excellent oral communications skills which demonstrate the ability to effectively convey and explain information, liaise with vendors and tactfully deal with diverse people, situations and ideas.
