Instruct students to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle (Class A, Class B) in various traffic environments and conditions.

Support an understanding of attitude and health-related issues on the thought and driving process and obtaining competence in safely operating a commercial motor vehicle.

Ensure Commercial vehicles operate in a manner and condition consistent with regulations as outlined in the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations CFR Part 49.

Ensure Commercial vehicles operate in a manner and condition consistent with regulations as outlined in the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Regulations CFR Part 49.

Engage with students (generally, employees of client companies) and other representatives of the client organization involved in training events in a positive and professional manner to strengthen the relationship between PHH/CTS and the client organization.

Provide clear and consistent assessment of students, based upon established grading methods, to client as required Maintain all logs/documents/reporting as required to comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Act and any other relevant DOT requirements.

Complete all internal documents/reporting of activity and hours worked in support of assigned client engagements accurately and on time.

The duties of a Center for Transportation Safety Instructor include classroom instruction as well as providing instruction behind the wheel and could involve the following physical conditions: • Exposure to various extreme weather conditions • Standing for durations of up to 12 hours • Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds • Travel may be required
