Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Army cadre and UVAW leadership.
  • Responsible for completing the detachment's administrative actions to include contracting requirements, travel, pay, and benefits.
  • Quality control of the Cadet Command Information Management System database.
  • Cadet academic advisor and counselor; responsible for keeping the host program informed of all Cadet and staff actions.
  • Assist in the recruiting of prospects and retention of Cadets within the program.
  • Assist with on/off campus field training labs and exercises.
  • Performing other duties as required in support of the Cadet Command Mission.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree. A master's degree in an academic field is desirable, but not necessary.
  • Successful Company Command or higher preferred.
  • Combat Arms experience preferred.
  • Willing to travel periodically for professional development as well as to support Cadet training.
