ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS MAY INCLUDE:
• Provide clinical and supportive counseling services; individual, group and family therapy, including but not limited to TBOS, Outpatient or BHOS in a CHS office/facility, client homes and school community as necessary.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment intervention (i.e., Trauma-Focused Care, Infant Mental Health)
• Develop and maintain clinical records and program documentation according to contract and CHS standards (assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, termination summaries, etc.).
• Generate and maintain necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner (i.e., Quality Assurance and program accounting/billing reports). 
• Complete billable units and enter applicable data into the Client Information System (CIS) and other data systems in a timely manner as required by the program and/or contract requirements.
• Facilitate psycho-educational classes and/or groups such as parenting skills, independent living skills, anger management, behavior management, substance abuse, MAPP/Pride training, etc..
• Participate in treatment and/or multidisciplinary teams, including but not limited to one of the following: TBOS, Outpatient or BHOS (only provided in Residential settings) treatment team meetings, as required by the program.
• Provide case management services including information, plan referral and linkages, where appropriate. Coordinate services with other professionals and para-professionals and liaison with outside social service agencies and other organizations.
• Provide in-depth clinical assessment, diagnosis of clinical conditions, treatment plans and intervention under the supervision of a licensed clinician, including one of the following: TBOS, Outpatient or BHOS services (only provided in Residential settings), when necessary.
• Provide crisis counseling services to families.
• Make collateral contacts to assess client progress and functioning.
• Oversee the behavioral program or treatment interventions associated with the client’s treatment plan.
• Participate in peer review process to oversee that services provided comply with contract, Medicaid and licensing requirements, COA, and internal quality assurance standards.
• Coordinate and supervise therapeutic family visitation, when necessary.
• Provide on-call support as required or scheduled.
• Review and monitor billing for clinical services.
• Train direct care staff regarding components of the individualized treatment plan, when necessary.
• Meet established program productivity goals while upholding the CHS standard of care.
• Participate in the quality improvement process.

Job Qualifications:  
REQUIRED:All degrees must be from an accredited university.

• Master's Degree in Human Services related field.
• Two years of post-Bachelor degree experience working with at-risk children and families
• Please see Addendums maintained by Human resources and COA (Council on Accreditation) standards for specific skills and knowledge that pertain to the program in which the employee is working.
• Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire.

PREFERRED:
• Minimum of one year of post Masters' experience
• Three years of experience dealing with emotionally disturbed children/adolescents

SKILLS:

• Ability to act decisively when necessary to protect client
• Ability to assess and apply proper intervention strategies
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Ability to identify and understand environmental stressors
• Ability to learn computer skills sufficient to perform all essential functions
• Ability to travel and/or make home visits
• Ability to recognize importance of social, economic and environmental factors
  in the development and resolution of personal and family problems
• Ability to effectively interact with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds
• Ability to set appropriate limits and boundaries with clients
• Ability to work flexible hours as required
• Able to perform at a high level of autonomy or with minimal supervision
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of community resources
